Get on the “Wish List”!

Pack your bags! Leave the rest to us!

Why should I go on a Travel Masters Trip?
First of all, it’s fun! Second, there are so many benefits of group travel! Leave the hassles of reservations, tickets, transfers, and driving to us! You will be free to relax, meet new friends and enjoy the tour. By traveling with the Travel Masters, there are rates and discounts and even attractions that could not be enjoyed by an individual or small parties.  You’ll get to meet people and make new friends, and even see a few old friends that you didn’t know traveled with us.

Are you thinking about a tour . . . get on the “Wish List”?
The “Wish List” is the list that contains the name of people who are interested in a particular tour but have not yet paid their deposit. If you're on the "Wish List" we'll try to contact you before the tour sells out to let you know it's decision time. The “Wish List” does not guarantee a spot or seat on the tour, just your interest is noted. Only a paid deposit (or payment in full) guarantees a seat. Several of our tours trips sell out early. It is in everyone’s interest that in order to secure a seat by making your deposit as soon as you know you plan to travel.

"Top 10 Reasons" to Travel with TM!

Everyone at some time or another has seen “The Late Show” with David Letterman and his “Top 10 list”. With respect to Dave and to take a page from his book, here’s my “Top 10 list”. Actually, it’s not a Top 10 list per se, it’s ten reasons off the top of my head why travel with the Travel Masters. They are in no particular order. Just how they popped into my head (which in itself is probably another article for a different day) . . .

1. View Your Screensavers in Real Life: Think about all those times you’ve sat down at your computer and were  mesmerized by the serene images coming across your screen. Now think about how much more mesmerizing those cascading waterfalls, coastal sunsets, and sky-scraping mountains could be in person. (Don’t have a computer? I think you still get the picture!)

2.  Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda: Think back to all of those dreams you had when you were younger. Maybe you were going to go to the Caribbean or maybe out west to see all the different National Parks, or perhaps go across the ocean to visit the sites in Paris or even Normandy. Don’t let these dreams fade. The Travel Masters can make travel dreams come true!

3. Variety:  We offer trips to suit a range of abilities, interests and needs; whether our travelers want a short day trip or an extended tour, we always have several tours to pick from. Something to meet everyone's $ range.

4.  Value: A lot of our tours we plan ourselves to get “more bang for your buck”. Cutting out the middleman saves you $!  When it comes to packaged tours we shop around for the best deal, we don't always sign-up with the first, second or third company . . . we do extensive comparisons.

5. Friendships: Many of our guests travel with us again and again. They know that they’re in good hands with the Travel Masters and that we take the time to create a true travel experience. There is no better feeling than traveling with friends and so many of us have become great friends over the years.

6. Motorcoaches: We use some of the finest motorcoaches around. We look for companies with the best drivers and equipement there is,  not to mention their driver’s records. We use 50 passenger motorcoaches (on all extended tours) instead of 56 so everyone has a little extra leg room.

7. Escorted Tours: We are here as escorts to assist you while you are away from home on tours. From getting you checked in at our hotels, to dropping you off at the front door for a show, or getting you through the airport. We help making travel easy. Isn’t that what it’s all about?

8. The Little Touches: The Travel Masters know that little things mean a lot. From a bottle of water that we furnish each morning on motorcoach tours to complimentary DVDs that we give to each of our travelers when we return home from an extended tour. Going that little extra step helps bring our travelers back again and again.

9. We like what we do, and it shows . . . The only way you can be good at your job is to enjoy it. And we do. We love to see a smile on your face from having a good time or enjoying a dinner that is oh, so good. Everything goes more smoothly when everyone’s happy, so we always try to make everyone happy, including ourselves, by knowing that your tour is a success.

10.  ____________________________________________________Ok, you got me. That was only nine. How about you come up with the tenth reason. Make it a good one! Simply click on the link below and add a reason you travel with us!

Frank's First Blog

"Happiness is a Way of Travel, not just a Destination".

OK, so I know that blogs are supposed to be forward-thinking and progressive views of what we are doing in travel and the successes and maybe even the little bumps in the road we encounter. As this is my first attempt at contributing to this blog I think I'll do it with a little history of what we've done and what the future holds for us.

I've often been asked what my favorite trip has been or what my favorite place to visit has been. My answer has always been the same, "THE NEXT ONE." We have been fortunate to visit some very awe-inspiring parts of these United States as well as some of Europe's finest cultural, scenic and yes, historic locales, and then there is Canada, Mexico and "Down Under" Australia & New Zealand, amazing isn't to strong of a word to describe theses unique locations. The beauty of our nation's National Parks is best witnessed first hand. Trying to describe the splendor of Yellowstone or the majesty of Mt. McKinley in Denali in words on a page simply does not do them justice. To visit and spend significant time in our Nation's Capital, the memorials, monuments and yes, the White House, it's no wonder Washington, DC is arguably the most powerful and influential city in the world.

What makes what we do so exciting and an always learning process is the enjoyment we see on the faces of our group when we take them to places that they've never been before; a bucket list trip or even a long-held dream of places far away. This is what makes us go!

Our catch phrase, "Come Join the Fun!" is not just a saying. We mean it!  We want to create not just a trip to some off the beaten path locale. We want to make memories to last a lifetime. It's a challenge that we enthusiastically have accepted and want to improve on every time we pull out of the parking lot at the start of a journey. The measure of a trip we put together is not how successful it becomes. To us, it's the SMILES on the repeat travelers and the "first timers" going with us that make it all worthwhile!

So, here we go. Follow us on this blog, our Facebook page, on Twitter or just listen to the words of our travelers, "Happiness is a Way of Travel, not just a Destination".

Frank: Congratulations on 10 years!

Congratulations on 10 years!

Wow! It's been 10 years since Frank started with the Travel Masters. Frank is my husband, best friend and co-worker . . . (yes in that order). He goes above the call of duty when it comes to the Travel Masters (and as a husband, too).

Frank does it all, from:
  • Leading groups all over the world . . .
  • Steering the bus drivers in the right direction . . .
  • Late nights cleaning the motorcoach . . .
  • Proofing all my type-o's in the newsletters . . . brochures . . .
  • Co-planning wonderful tours . . .
  • Keeping up with all the many details with all our vendors . . .
  • Early mornings out, making sure all the luggage handling is correct . . .
  • And of course, having fun on all the great tours we have co-hosted
  • The list goes on and on . . .
Thanks for all your help! It's been a great working with you! Love you!
