Montana in the Fall (Early September, actually)

While I'm sitting here waiting for my vehicle to be serviced I'm thinking about our upcoming tour to Montana, et al. Departure is less than a week and the excitement is building. We've been checking weather forecasts daily, road closings and such in the National Parks we're visiting plus the forecast for visibility of the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis. We may have a great chance to view one of the wonders in the sky while in Glacier National Park. What an added treat this will be.

The itinerary is packed with fun-filled activity and I, for one can't wait!

Watch this space as we will be posting daily on the happenings of the Travel Masters on The Great American Scenic Safari  tour. We may even throw in a few photos , too.  And if you're following us on Facebook, we'll be there, too with current pics and comments on the tour. So, follow us here, follow us there, but follow us!

It Got Away...

Time, that is. Can't believe it's been nearly a month since we last posted a blog. Well, to recap, the Pacific Coast Adventure tour was a tremendous success. I know we missed blogging the last two days of the tour but the seven previous days we're filled, filled, filled with fun and memories for each and every one of the group. I know I felt as if I was along (even though I wasn't) just helping put the daily blog together each evening. OK, so I lived vicariously through our Travel Masters friends. Why not, it was a great trip and well worth it.

Our dinner and a Show tour on August second was once again, an enjoyable afternoon/evening of fun, food and music. Our dinner location was changed at the last minute since we were informed that we needed a group of 50 to dine there. We had used this location in Tahlequah, Oklahoma the past two years and never had more that 48 in the group. This time we had 24 and I guess the manager felt it wasn't worth their time to serve us. No matter, though. Callahan's in Siloam Springs, Arkansas stepped up and graciously made room for us. It was a wonderful meal and the service was the tip top. Big thanks to Callahan's and their staff for helping the Travel Masters out.

The show in Tahlequah was done by the Northeastern State University 'Stars in the Summer" and for the 4th straight year (for us) we were treated to a wonderfully entertaining musical experience by the NSU students' performance. Did you know a number of years ago a young singer honed her skills as a performer with "Stars in the Summer" while attending NSU before making it big as a country singer? Her name.....Carrie Underwood!  Toe-tapping sounds a songs familiar gave us a show to remember.

So, what's coming up?  I'll let you know soon enough.
